Are you bisexual? A lady? A pirate?

bisexualpiratequeen:

or any combination of the above?

There is a new blog looking for your contributions. Art, fiction, biographies… let us look at it.

Aces on the bi-romantic spectrum are welcome, as are all people on the female identified or non-binary spectrums. Bi’s of Colour especially encouraged.

(White cis bi guys are welcome to submit too, but this mod at least is actively wanting to promote the work  of and offer voices to people who might otherwise be silenced)

Hi there so-called progressive people claiming Lady Gaga is a straight ally who never came out as bi, here’s your mother fucking citation.

seriously, lady gaga is a great gauge for where i stand with monosexuals because like, criticize her into the fucking ground for her behaviour. please.

but if you look me in the fucking eye and justify erasing her id because of that behaviour, you just told me that the validity of my existence depends on what you think of me as a person

like how does that even leave your awful mouth without you realizing how shitty you are

Exactly, Perez Hilton and Cathy Brennan are rancid pieces of shit, but everybody remembers to not invalidate their sexualities when calling them out on being toxic motherfuckers, and when the criticism veers close to homophobia its stamped down pretty quickly.

Whenever Gaga says or does something shitty however, suddenly “she’s not really bisexual”, she’s “appropriating gay culture”, she’s “a slutty druggy attention seeker” among all kinds of biphobic misogynistic things, and everybody has collective amnesia that she has said over and over again that she’s bisexual and therefore a member of the lgbt community.

Shitty bisexuals exist, they are not no longer bisexual because they do problematic things, the existance of problematic bisexuals does not give anyone the right to spew biphobia and misogynistic fuckery. That’s not calling celebs out, that’s finding a handy excuse to vent bigotry and I don’t trust anybody who doesn’t see it for what it is.

We’re a co-ed group for adults from 18 to 80-plus who meet twice a month every 1st and 3rd Thursday evening at NYC’s LGBT Center in the West Village. The meetings are moderated and focused on a discussion topic but not limited to that week’s topic.

After the discussion group session, at 8 o’clock we go to dinner at a nearby, reasonably-priced restaurant for socializing and more informal discussion. We also have occasional social events such as movie nights, parties, and much more. Join us for a meeting or event and find the community you’ve been looking for!
